Iraq: the future of oil in the Middle East
We invite you to join us for a seminar with Dr. Issam Al-Chalabi, former Minister of Oil in Iraq and internationally recognized expert on Middle Eastern politics and energy issues. Dr. Chalabi, currently based in Amman, Jordan, will be visiting Stockholm to discuss the future of Iraq’s oil reserves, currently the world’s third largest, and to comment on the current political climate in the region. This seminar will be very relevant for those that are interested in energy politics, environmental issues, and global security.
The seminar will be held in English, with time for questions in the end. Entrance is free for UF members, 30 kr. for non-UF members. Membership costs 60 kr.
