Join us for an exciting seminar with Ambassador Nadeem Riyaz, Pakistan’s new Ambassador to Sweden, to discuss the past, present, and future of the nation’s politics. Moderator will be Jan Joel Andersson from the Swedish Institute of International Affairs. As one of the most populous countries in the world the domestic politics of Pakistan is of great importance not only for its citizens but for the stability of the region in which it lies. How does democracy function in this secularized albeit Muslim country?
