Iraq – Beyond the War
Thursday March 18, 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm, room E10, Stockholm University
Mr. Ahmad Bamarni, Ambassador of Iraq to Sweden, will speak about the post-war trials to establish democracy in the country. The seminar will focus on Iraq’s political development since the last election and the influence of neighboring countries as well as the challenges of sectarian violence and terrorism for the democratic process.
Refreshments is served from 2.30 pm. Entrance is free for UF members, 20 kr for non-members.
