Every year there is a convention about foreign policy for students from all over Sweden. This year it will be held in Linköping between 12 – 14 april under the theme “Politics and Science.” The weekend consists of lectures, seminars and workshops, all of which revolve around international issues. All members of UF Stockholm and other local associations can go and it will be a great opportunity to meet other people who are also interested in foreign policy!

Foreign Policy Association Sweden (UFS) invites you to Sweden’s premier forum for the discussion of foreign policy!
This year’s convention will be held April 20 to 21 in Lund. The theme for this year’s convention is “Security & Resources”. We will have interesting lectures, workshops, panel discussions, career fairs and other social activities.
Topics to be discussed during the convention include the environment and energy security, the economic crisis, terrorism, conflict minerals, war and human security. People from both the media and the academy and the policy will be appearing at the convention. Meet, among others, Maria Wetterstrand, Bjorn Lomborg, Erik Ullenhag, Aung Saw, Jimmie Åkesson, Lars Wilderäng, Pepe Escobar and many more!

In spring 2012 the
Swedish Association of International Affairs (UFS) will host the 4th and annual conference on international affairs on the theme of
Security and Resources. The purpose of the conference is to create a forum for debate on the given theme, in a U(p)F format.
Deadline for applications is 30 April.

The Foreign Policy Conference 2011 will take place in Uppsala during April 1-2. Politicians, researchers, journalists, officials, organisations and students will meet for two days with the aim to discuss the role of

Swedish Association of International Affairs (SAIA) is looking for two project managers and one financial officer for the Foreign Policy Conference 2011. With the implementation of Foreign Policy Conference SAIA wishes to create a forum for young, international debate on the subject of foreign policy and international affairs on the national level. The two previous conferences were carried out in Södertörn 2008 and in Gothenburg between 5-6th of March 2010, and as of now the planning for the next conference will begin.
